Volunteer Leadership

Donors, advocates and champions

As our front line advocates, our volunteer leaders are a key component to advancing the values and mission of the College of Charleston.  Through speaking engagements, attending events on behalf of the College, meeting with prospective students and parents, and networking with alumni, our volunteer leaders elevate the College across the city, the region and the nation.

Join the CofC family. Volunteer opportunities include:

Parent Leadership Society

The Parent Leadership Society (PLS) is a recognition group for parents who make an annual gift of $5,000 or more to the Parents Fund. With this level of support comes two opportunities during the academic year – one in the fall during Homecoming + Family Weekend and one in the spring – where PLS members are invited to gather and network with one another, engage with campus leadership, and get an insider’s look into the university, as well as provide feedback, support and recommendations that will elevate the College to greater heights. For more information about the Parent Leadership Society, please contact Jenny Fowler Peck.

Committed to Charleston

Committed to Charleston (or C2C) is the first ever student philanthropy group on campus focused on the College. Chartered by students in 2013, they took on the commission of making philanthropy important and apparent on the College campus. For more information about C2C, please contact Jordan Halfon ’20.
