Many donors prefer to make gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or exchange traded funds because it can have a large impact on the College, while maximizing potential tax benefits by avoiding paying tax on capital gains. Does your company match donations?
If your company matches, you may be able to access the forms directly through the search. Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses. Follow the set procedure, and the College of Charleston will be happy to assist. Questions? Please call 843.953.3418.

The Parents’ Fund allows families to be actively engaged in their student’s education. It supports student programming, our low faculty/student ratios, and immediate use scholarships and awards.
