Young Alumnae Giving Back

As members of the College’s 1770 Society, which recognizes donors who give $1,000 or more annually, Stephanie Rhodes ’13 and Victoria Ward ’15 are providing leadership and support in the areas of the College that matter the most to them – and staying connected to their alma mater in a meaningful way. Stitching Together a Culture of Giving

Rhonda Whiting and her husband have supported many areas on campus, including the history department, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean's Excellence Fund, the Student Emergency Fund, the College of Charleston Fund and the Parents' Fund. It wasn’t until her daughter Miranda Whiting Lank ’15 graduated, however, that Whiting combined her sewing skills and her dedication to giving back to the College – stitching together not one, but two CofC quilts for the Annual Giving Office to use as fundraisers.
