Geology Alumni Field Studies Reunion Tour!

June 3 - 10, 2018, southern Utah

The Geology and Environmental Geosciences department at the College of Charleston has organized a field trip in southern Utah for our alumni. Led by Bob Nusbaum, this 7 day trip will revisit some of your favorite Field Studies stops including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Yankee Meadows, and Cathedral Gorge. Be prepared for hiking, camping, and geological challenges along the way! We’ll meet in Las Vegas on June 3rd and return to Las Vegas on June 10th. See program flier here.

We’ve set a fairly reasonable program fee to encourage participants to donate an additional amount to our new Geology Alumni Endowed Fund - see Additional Contribution part below. By joining in, you’ll also be helping current and future students attend Field Studies and conduct research with faculty! The endowed funds will be used to support students every year. We hope to expand this to help even more in the coming years.

Relive the sights, the sounds, the smells - vans? - of southern Utah! We hope to see you on the Geology Alumni Field Studies Reunion Tour!
